Lately, tile-inspired tattoos have undoubtedly become my favorite projects to do at the studio. There is something hypnotic about transforming the skin into a canvas of traditional patterns.
A little piece of light and geometry
As the song in the video says, each of these pieces brings “a little piece of light”. I am fascinated by the contrast between the geometric rigidity required by the original design of a tile and the way the needle must organically adapt to the curves of the human body. It’s a technical challenge that I deeply enjoy, turning black ink and fine line technique into a permanent piece of jewelry.
Creating your ideal pattern
I am quite excited about the direction my work is taking thanks to these designs. Every tile I tattoo is unique, designed and fitted exclusively for the person who will wear it. It’s not just about copying a pattern, but creating an ornamental piece that flows with your anatomy and tells a small visual story.

Fine Line & Geometry: Creating Unique Tiles
Today I want to share with you a design style that I am completely in love with: tile-inspired tattoos. It started as an idea I showed you on my stories, but seeing how much you liked it, I decided to give it its own space on the blog.
The fusion of precision and delicacy
This type of design combines the strict precision of geometry with the characteristic softness of my fine line style. The result is a unique ornamental pattern that adapts elegantly and very personally to the skin, recalling the beauty of traditional ceramics but with a modern and minimalist touch.
The future: Large-scale projects
My vision for this concept is to take it to the next level. I would love to do much larger projects with this tile theme, such as fluid compositions for the back, full arms, or legs. The possibilities of playing with symmetries and botanical or geometric patterns are literally endless.

Today I want to share with you one of the biggest and most exciting projects of the week. My client asked for two large iris flowers for her back, and I couldn’t believe it was her first tattoo!
The design process
We started working on the digital design of the flowers on the iPad to ensure precision. Once ready, we applied the stencil. For the design to flow perfectly with the anatomy of her back and connect both flowers naturally, we decided to draw the connecting lines freehand. This step took time and dedication, but it was essential to make sure the result fit her perfectly.
The result: Fine line and delicacy
She sat like an absolute champ the entire session. The final result is a fine line piece, very delicate and elegant, that perfectly complements her body shape. It’s amazing to see how such a large design can maintain so much subtlety.
